WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS, MY FRIEND!

Today we had the big disc golf competition in Kankaanpää. The winner is the champion of Kankaanpää. There was 5 different series: open, advanced amateur, women, senior-40 and junior-19. So, Tapani won the advanced amateur serie and Jarmo was the second in the same serie. I won the women serie. Big surprise there, 'cause I was the only woman there :D But the guy who won the open serie, was the best in the whole competition and he was the champion of Kankaanpää :)

The weather was so nice. It was sunny and pretty warm for October :)

New school, new friends!

It has been quite a while since I wrote here the last time. But now I really have something to tell :)

So, I have been in a school for four weeks now, and I have liked it :) Everyone in our class is nice and the teachers are very nice and easy-going people :) We have very good atmosphere between each other :) Who wouldn't like that? :) Most of our school days are from 8.15 am to 4 pm, but you get used to that. It's not a problem :)

For the first time in my life, I'm living alone! I'm living in Pori now, and I have this nice apartment :) It's boring sometimes to live alone, but every weekend I come home to Kankaanpää. It's like 1 hour drive by bus, so it isn't so far :)

That's something about my life :D

A nice weekend.

On Friday me, Harri and Daniel went to Tampere and we went with Tapani to Pirkkahalli to throw disc golf discs. I had never been in Pirkkahalli before, so it was nice to see the place the boys are talking so much :)

On Saturday I was in Palloiluhalli with boys and Julia. Tapani taught me how to throw with speed. I'm going to learn it on this year! It's my goal! :D

When we came back from Palloiluhalli, I went to supermarket for grandma. I was almost three hours at grandmas. It was nice to talk with her and stuff.

On Saturday evening me and my friend, Eeva-Kaisa, had a movie night at her home. I took five movies of my own, but we didn't want to watch any of them. We chose a movie from Eeva-Kaisa, but we didn't watch that either. We ended up watching the first Lord of the rings -movie, The Fellowship of the Ring :D It lasts three hours, so we didn't watch anything else :D But it was nice. I hadn't seen the movie for a long time and I had been thinking watching it anyway.

On Sunday I was at home the whole day. Me and my cousin, Katja, went for a walk at some point and it was fun :)

So, that was the story of my weekend :D MOI.

A real winter!

Wow, on this morning there was a -40 degrees somewhere in Finland! Seriously, what is this?! This is crazy! I have always liked winter, but this is too much. Me and Jarmo went out just to walk for a moment. After 5 minutes we were frozen already! :D

Snow has to melt, NOW! I want to go outside and play disc golf! That is why winter is so boring :D Fortunately this winter is going to be over soon. At least it should be :D But who knows? Maybe there's so much snow, it won't melt before summer :D

So, for now it's wise to stay inside, under the blanket, watch good movies and just relax!

Ice skating with mum! (Though mum didn't skate :D)

So, I was ice skating with mum. Mum have never ice skated in her life, so she didn't ice skate today :D But we had fun. We took pictures, 'cause there is so much snow! We haven't seen this much snow ever. At least I don't remember! This was the fifth day I was ice skating on this week :) Ice skating is FUN!

Endless Winter! ... and Twin Peaks! :D

This winter seems to be endless. There is soooo much snow and minus degrees.

I have been ice skating yesterday and today. It's nice :) I bought a new pair of skates last Friday and went to try them the same day. I hadn't been ice skating for many years, so it was difficult at first time. But yesterday it was much more easier :) It was kind of fun to ice skate with Jarmo :D TOday I was alone. There wasn't anybody else on the field. I listened to music with my mp3-player when I skated. I liked that! :)

Tomorrow is my last day in the Impivaara, the daycare center. I would like to be there longer. It has been so great to be with children and everybody is so nice there! :) It seems like children also like to be there :) I'm going to miss that place and everyone there :)

If you wondered what the "..and Twin Peaks!" meant, I'll tell you the answer. I have been watching Twin Peaks. It's really weird! Stranger that I remembered :D But it is good!

A GREAT START FOR THE YEAR 2011!

So, on Friday evening me and mum were home. Jarmo was at our neighbour celebrating with his friends. Jarmo came to eat with me and mum, though. At midnight I went to watch fireworks. There wasn't so many fireworks than before. It was actually very peaceful night :)

Yesterday, on Saturday, my best friend got married. I'm not gonna write so much about that, but I can say that it was a nice day and beautiful event :)

Today I have been home all day watching Friends and How I met your mother :)

So, I think that it was the great start for this year to watch my best friend getting married :) I hope that all of you had a great weekend too! :)
